A boy and his father are whisked into the emergency room. The doctor says "I cannot help this boy! This is my Son!" How can this be?

Here's two that I got challenged to recently.
(Also, I already know Shockwave's)

1) A man is in jail. Another man has come to visit him, but the jailer informs him that only relatives of inmates may visit. The visitor proclaims, pointing to the one in prison, "Brothers and sisters, I have none. That man's father, is my father's son." How is the visitor related to the imprisoned man?

2) A farmer has to cross a stream. He has with him a fox, a chicken, and a bag of corn. His only way across is a small boat, in which only he and one of his possessions may fit at any time. If left alone, the fox would eat the chicken, or the chicken would eat the corn. How does the farmer get across?

The first one is his uncle.

The second one is to bring the chicken, bring the corn, take the chicken back, bring the fox, then bring the chicken again. :)

1: WRONG! Because the visitor has no brothers or sisters, how can there be uncles or aunts? Try again.
2: Correct!
