Kung Fu Rabbit Review

Can is not the same as must..
I know that not many people would actually see this show since it's in Mandarin. So, I'll probably put a review on this cause I was bored and really wanted to say something about it.
Kung Fu Rabbit, or better known as Legend of the Rabbit as per say in the title sequence, is a little of a spin off from Kung Fu Panda. Let me get to say this first; if you've seen Kung Fu Panda, this 'Rabbit' kung fu isn't or won't be as good as what they have to offer. It's below average and their jokes are reeeaaalllyyyy cheesy. Even my cousin sister, age 13, laugheda at their ridiculous pun. Note here that it's all in Mandarin so, puns are in mandarin.
One thing that I realized about the movie is how closely related the movie is to kung fu panda. There are two scenes at the top of my mind where it's honestly a rip off from the original. Kung Fu panda 1 shows Tai Lung hitting rhinos in Chor Gom Prison and he hits them with weapons. The same actually happened in the movie and even the stop motion ones to. Like... the faces the rhinos did were the same and similar to kung fu rabit. Next, is the ending of the movie. Both heroes in the movie defeated the villain with a body slam. No, seriously! With a body slam! Like FAT body slam! Po hits the villain with his body and so does this rabbit. Oh yeah, rabbit's name is 'Tu', which also means rabbit in mandarin. Ironic, no?
While watching, there were few things running through my mind. The first, is the villain. If you've seen the trailer, the villain is a panda but once you've seen the show, HE'S NOT A PANDA!!! NO!! SERIOUSLY!! He's NOT a panda! This badass villain (whom is quite a hotty and muscly in my opinion under his shirt) is a fucking white bear! As in, i think it's a polar bear. He paints his eyes and ears black! I mean.. WTF?! They didn't even say the reason why he painted himself black. Sheesh! Somebody, please, if you've seen this movie, please enlighten me on why he painted his eyes and ears black to look like a panda.
Second, is the villain, aka, Slash, as his name is, eats meat. He chomped on his food and I thought 'hey, aren't... panda herbivours?'. Unless they changed the food chain. Oh, not only that, the cook in the castle is a pig. A pig is cooking a pig. Ironic? *face palm*
Third, there are honestly some unidentified looking 'animals' in there. Link:http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb348/FalconMage/weird.jpg
Tell me.. what are they?
However, I do like some of the kung fu moves. It's far different from kung fu panda since Po uses his surroundings as weapons but one thing remains, both are fat, they use their 'fat' to bounce off enemies. yeeaahh... okies. The moves look really nice and realistic enough compared to kung fu panda. The end battle was good, not too shabby if i may say so and Slash, the villain gets more screen time, since, you know, he's the bad ass.
All in all, a movie that's just watchable if you DON'T have anything else to watch. No, really. If there's nothing at all, watch this for good fun cheesy laughter. Geezz... there's a fart joke in there.
Oh yeah, this is what Slash looks like with his OMFG! face and not have paint around his eyes and ears. http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums.....Mage/Slash.jpg
