RANT on SiriusXM service

And so says Reacter the Red Fox:
Everyone has, I'm sure, at least listened to XM Radio. I like the fact that they still play the stuff I love, which the only other stations around here that do are C106 (106.1 FM "Coyote Country") and Willie 102 (102.1 FM "Willie Radio".) C106 plays in the following amounts: 40 minutes of commercials, and 20 minutes of music dispersed in per hour, except for 10 PM-4:30 AM, when it becomes 10 minutes commercials, followed by 50 minutes music. Willie 102 has 15 minutes of commercials followed by 45 minutes of music, but I am some 150-odd miles from its source: I live in Cape Girardeau, they broadcast from Paducah, Ken-Tuck. Solution! Buy XM-they have no commercials, and while I don't exactly like the selection, it's better than most of the commercials on C106, and better than static, by far. So ... one $75 receiver later ... I go to get a Wal-mart money card to activate this thing. Low and behold, you can no longer buy this thing via check, and you now HAVE to be 18+, because they strictly enforce the SSN (They no longer give you the option to refuse the main card, with a $3 activation fee.) So screw that, chucked it in the fire, lost $30. Just went over to Best Buy, and bought a $55 SiriusXM prepay card. HOLY SHIT. They want a God Damned Credit Card! Them Greedy fuckers have it in their Terms of Service that after the Prepay card runs out, they will continue to bill you, so you have to have a credit card. WHAT THE FUCK!? ... And people wonder why I spent over $500 in the radio system for my '59 Chevy. It's so I can get Willie 102 WHEREVER I WANT (Range of estimated 175 miles, given my friend's installation in a Ranger). FM is (still) free. Thank God for (small) miracles. I really hope some people choke and die on their money ... "Aww, you've had enough? ... HAVE SOME MORE." >:|

Thanks to some outside help, it's done. God that was a fiasco, but, worth it.
