The vocaloid one has a bit too much umm.... loid in it? It needs to be toned down a bit more. Auto tune is used so much as a crutch anymore I frown upon it unless it's done really well. I LOVE the original version of this song though!

I'm glad to have helped. Really those were just randomly chosen from what I listened to today. I was going to suggest a few others but they were a little dark. Like -OZ-, Dir En Grey, and The Gazette. The Gazette isn't dark but y god are they amazing. They just released a single and I fan girled it so hard. That trip to the beat is known as swing, if you focus on the snares, you can usually always follow the track. It usually works on 1's and 3's meaning the punctuation you normally hear steadily in other types of music is shifted and warped. so like, shit like that to me is fascinating and awesome.

DJ Shadow had a nice beat but it's too slow for my taste. Of course if someone had it playing I'd be just fine with that. I usually seek out music to lift me up and get me energized instead of calming me and putting me in a relaxed mood XD

Okay, the first song for Mr. Oizo was very hard to listen to. I gave it a good minute but it's just unsettling. That being said the second song has some great sounds and the beat doesn't jerk around as much. It kind of skips here and there but doesn't bother me. I like the odd video game touches. Reminds me of Aquatic Ruins on Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

Dude! The first song for Lone, GREAT! Second song? I'd have to tell someone to shut it off... I think it's the resurgance of bad vibes I'd get when my favorite CD would start to skip or someone playing radio commando turning the volume up and down really fast.

Actually not too keen on the last song either. Reminds me of new rock with out the singing or heavy guitar and drums.
