I think we are going to try to go to the springfield furs meet this time around whenever the date for that is. I work the 18th but if'n y'all want to hold a meet on the 18th feel free to use this journal area for arrangments.

The Springfield meet is on Saturday, Sept 24, at 3:00. They are doing a potluck dinner in a city park, and they want everyone to bring something. The information is in the following journal entry, and anyone who is going should leave a comment on their journal (not here) telling what they will bring.

I suggest we meet somewhere in Joplin about 1:30 or so and carpool to Springfield. I can get 3 more people in my car besides myself, possibly 4 if they're not too big.

I just totally screwed up. The Springfield meet is not on the 24th. It's on the 17th. That's today! I don't know if they changed the date or if I had a complete brain fart (probably the latter) but I apologize for my mistake.

Looks like some of the Springfield furs have decided to do a potluck in the park this weekend at the same time that I had originally thought their official furmeet was supposed to be (Sat, Sept 24, at 3 PM). I assume the one for the 17th was cancelled due to weather.

I don't know what the deal is, but the journal entry I linked to above was deleted shortly after I commented on it. I don't know if it was cancelled, or if there was not enough interest, or if we're just not invited. Whatever it is, I'm too tired and frustrated to deal with it.

How about having our own get together this weekend?

Way I understand it rained like crazy and I belive it got cancilled.
