Trip to, heave and ho; Up, down, to and fro- You have no word
Hey guys, I thought i'd update a little bit on commissions and everything so you all know where i'm at.
I havent had internet the past 3 days so i'm back now, and I got to really sit down and work on stuff.
CAATS for
saruki is about 95% done. Needs a few touch ups, lamination and then stitching.
CAATS for
regalwolfstudios is about 90% done.
Chibi badge for
tawnycrow is 98% done.
Personal IK CAATS badge 90% done.
They all look really nice, and i'm proud of how they have all come out. Only problem is, i'm running out of unique poses for them. xD
School has been kicking my butt lately, but I guess I shouldn't complain. Only problem going to school fulltime is that i can only work a few days a week now, and that's really killing my source of income. i'm almost tempted to work fulltime AND go to school fulltime, but I have a feeling that would kill me. I'm lazy. :c
I want to post some of my older works, but I don't want my watchers to be upset if I dump old pictures here. Would any of you be angry if I posted stuff from the past here? Should I put them into scraps, or into my main account? And how far back would you be interested in seeing?
I am going to post my badge wall soon! I just have one more badge that i'm waiting to get in the mail, and then i'll snap a photo of it. It even has a never before seen chibi IK badge, and I am working on my own personal CAATS badge that will also be included!
I haven't had much time to post or make anything new for my JH account, but don't worry.. As soon as these commissions are finished I will devote a little bit of my time to getting the adoptables finished as well as doing some major updates.

I think it's just that; With something hanging using stitching, you need the proper balance between both halves so it hangs up properly, and so the poses I come up with are somewhat similar. I guess it doesn't really matter though, because I don't ever trace over or duplicate my work. I'm just worried people will start to think that's what i'm doing. ;;
Do you think the older stuff would belong in scraps, or should they be in my main gallery?

In school, i've always had a sort of rebellious nature. I like to learn, but I don't like the learning environment. I feel caged up and it's hard to concentrate. I don't like how the teachers teach here. So for me, it's very slow going to get an education. and I feel it's a waste of time. I could be out working two jobs right now. ;;

I have been wanting to make a timeline of IK for some time now.. I guess it's all just a matter of finding the oldest pictures I have of her, and then going through all that I have and putting them in order (I never dated anything way back when x_x ). The only way I can tell what year something was made are by finding clues, like what characters I drew, if I find school papers in the same stack, or if there happens to be just one dated piece in the entire book. It's detective work I guess. xD

It's pretty cool because you can see how different IK looks in other people's styles. I have about 6 badges from different people, ranging back all the way to 2008. So once I get my 7th in, i'll snap a picture and show everyone. :)
Least your keeping busy, I'm being lazy which isn't good but I'm just waiting on job interviews. Hopefully I can work soon and keep myself busy then make money. Buy a Cathy suit and live happily ever after...
Hope your not over working yourself, can't have a exhausted Icykat. D: Oooooo I can't wait for those JH adoptables, gonna buy one and cherish it and use it to make the plush. Should be working on that but I dunno either with a foam head base or just stuffing with material. But enough of my blabbering.

Well, the no internet thing was because I went to visit my Great-gpa. I don't think he's ever been online in his life. :P But it was a really nice visit and was sort of a vacation. :P
I'm trying to keep busy, only I lose my drive to finish school work. x_o I need inspiration.. I have a paper due today. Guess who hasn't started it. ;; And a Cathy suit would be awesome dude! The colours... <3
I'll crank them out as soon as I can. I'm really excited for it too, because hopefully that will give them some exposure and I can earn a bigger JH fanbase. :)

Bro, great gramps? Dang, how old is he? Good to visit family and chill, living with family though and I just want to stay out and away. Do I sound bad for saying that? Me don't know.
Ha! I used to do that all the time in school. I'd stay up in the night to finish my four page essay I had two weeks to do. I'm such a bad procrastinator, not with artistic stuff though. I like things that motivate me to do my best in the project. I'm so weird. But you can do it! Strive!
