Be sure to check out our website: Genderfluid
Since there hasn't been a journal in a long time, I thought I'd put one up!
1.When did you realize or what triggered that you were Genderfluid or Genderqueer?
2.For those who work, are you open about being genderfluid/genderqueer? Do you let people find out for themselves, or do you usually just keep it to yourself without telling anybody?
3.What type of clothes do you usually wear? Is it usually gender neutral or do you have certain days where you where more feminine or masculine clothes?
4. I often find that being Genderfluid effects how I think or address a situation. It's like an internal struggle of what I call the "Male part of my brain" and the "female part of my brain". It's like an internal struggle of a married couple inside my own head. I was wondering if anyone else deals with this as well? What sort of situations have you had, that made you stop, and notice it? Also do you find that some days one part of the brain seems more dominant?

Love,
I thought maybe I'd ask some questions and that you guys can answer if you want. It can be all of them or just some, or however many you want. I just think it will help the group get to know each other. Most of these questions are from the Facebook questions, but =D1.When did you realize or what triggered that you were Genderfluid or Genderqueer?

1. Last year, when I started dating a boy, He helped open my eyes.
2. I don't work, but I am in school, and no, I'm not open about it.
3.I'd prefer to wear whatever I want, but I would be shunned if I did.
4.
A) I deal with it all the time.
B) When dealing with decisions about games or Stories, one side wants one thing and the other side another.
C) All the time, I notice one side is more dominant, normally the Female side.
1.When did you realize or what triggered that you were Genderfluid or Genderqueer?
~I realized sometime last year :3
2.For those who work, are you open about being genderfluid/genderqueer? Do you let people find out for themselves, or do you usually just keep it to yourself without telling anybody?
~I'm not open about it, I usually keep it to myself.
3.What type of clothes do you usually wear? Is it usually gender neutral or do you have certain days where you where more feminine or masculine clothes?
~I have masculine / feminine. I dress comfortably .
~ I do have that struggle, sexually. My male side wants to fuck uncontrollably and my feminine side wants to be all romantic and feels bad about one night stands. It sucks sometimes
3) generally gender neutral/masculine, but there are some times where i wear some feminine-type clothes. I'm usually binding when i wear more feminine clothes, though (usually binding in general, but sometimes i take breaks)
2) I go to an LGBTQ transfer school (still highschool, im a babby) so yeah im 100% out. idk if i'd be out at work, probably.
4) It used to be more like that, but i guess my different personalities slowly merged or something? lol
such a sad story 8x
People make their own conclusions.
Around 2008 I learned more about intersex conditions. I don't feel that I fit as a woman or a man, though physically appearing as a woman, I am stuck in the middle. I'm afraid of being on hormones, so I just stay as I am, but dress more as a guy.
2. I work from home during the week, and my partner's aware about how I am. As for my weekend gig, I had to down play a question. "Why don't you wear a bra?" A lot of folks seem homophobic, so I don't say anything. I have a small chest, and I mentioned to her that I just use a tank top (which is true).
3. Unisex, or mens clothes usually. About 85% of my clothes are mens. The others are costumes and interview clothes. My current sneakers are from the womens section due to needing shoes ASAP and nothing in the mens section fit. I haven't had a chance to replace them yet.
4. I notice I mentally switch back in forth in different situations. The most particularly being if I'm around a guy or gal intimately. If In other situations, if I'm talking to someone where I'm in charge or in a medical situation, I'm more masculine. If I'm posing nude for an art class, I'm definitely going to be more feminine (not very, but less masculine). If I'm playing with a cat or seeing something really cute and talking about it, I get a bit girly. If I'm playing a mascot character it varies. When random strangers (especially kids) try to figure out if there's a guy or girl inside, they typically always say "boy," "guy," or "man."
2. The place I work for has strong religious ties. While I imagine they wouldn't have a huge problem with it, it would prolly raise too many questions to be worth dealing with.
3. My clothing is generally pretty genderless. When I DO wanna get fancy, I have a hard time with an overtly genderbased side. So I either wear something feminine with punky male accessories, or vice versa.
4. My feminine side definitely rules in my brain. Most of the time my male side only comes out if my subconcious feels its being neglected or supressed. Its all about balance and whatever feels natural though!
Love your group, guys. Thanks for managing it.
2. I dont work, but Im not open about it irl, though the way I act and my personality might be kind of a hint
3. I wear the same thing everyday, jeans, a t-shirt, the occasional hoodie and scarf, but really Id be cool with wearing whatever as long as I found it comfortable...and if people wouldnt judge :U
4. I guess you could say Im more feminine-minded, but who knows, it flips randomly on random days
2. Don't work yet, but for those who know me in real life, its kinda easy to tell... In middle school, I ended up sitting next to some chubby kid wearing the same T-shirt and shorts as me. yay for buying boys cloths! am 100% "out" and if people ask, I tell 'em, but there's no need to ask once you meet me...
3. Don't care as long as its comfy. Typical dress is a t-shirt, shorts or jeans w/ a ton of rips & holes in them, a purple plad patterned unbottoned over the t-shirt.
4. I can be fiminine if I feel like it or need to be but I'm an uber tomboy all the way. I guess it flips from day to day?
3. I just wear whateverfeels right. So most days its jeans and t shirts but sometimes I wear dresses or skirts and girly shirts.
4. This happens to me soetimes. and some days I'm more fem and somedays I'm more male so my brain reacts to the world depending on which is in chare so to say.
2] I'm still in high school but even there I'm not totally open about it. I never explain unless people ask since nobody ever knows the meaning of anything around here. If I worked, I'd probably be more open.
3] Now, I wear typical cheap girl clothing. I'm obsessed with clothes so if I had the money to get all the styles I wanted, I'd dress more guy when I felt like it ans super cutesy when I feel more girl. Even when the male part of me kicks in, I still have a clothing obsession, just over different styles.
4] My struggle is more like sibling rivalry. From 13 to 15, my male half was dominant, but halfway through 15 until now, I've alternated so much that neither is dominant. Sometimes, it feels more like two split personalities fighting for my head and it hurts, but I've learned how to live with both sides of me.
2. I'm an over the road truck driver. Most truck drivers are rather conservative, at least socially, and do not welcome deviations from the norm, which is stupid because to BE a truck driver you have to NOT BE NORMAL. I can say this from personal experience. yes, most drivers are just blue collar joes doing a job, but most are F-ked in the head in some manor or fashion.
3. I generally wear ladies jeans with guy shirts, rarely socks, and I have little choice but to wear guys shoes, because I have Gorilla feet (12wide mens, 13 extra wide in ladies, or 14 extra wide in high heels) and I can't wear heels to drive.
4. my personality is 50 male and 50 female. how I think of s situation depends on many factors, but usually it's dominated by either one or the other. usually the male side is more logical, aggressive, and 'F the consequences'... the female side is more timid, non-confrontational, and compassionate.
if presented with the EXACT SAME SITUATION 4 times, you'd most likely get 4 different reactions from me based on mood.
2. irl I'm not very open about it right now because I live in a conservative town.
3.I usually wear male cloths but I never adhere to fads or latest fashion I always come up with my own style wish I could add some drag to it though
4.I'm not really sure some things do conflict in my mind but I never gave it a thought about the gender orientation of my decisions
2. I am still discovering my genderfluid nature myself, so its hard to be open about something I still don't know fully. Also, I am currently unemployed... but the times I have been they are highly feminizing and needed to express such to look 'appropriate; for work.
3. I flucuate on feminine and masculine, though most of the time I try to be gender nuetral in clothing. So this is something I am still adjusting my wardrobe too. It wasn't too long ago that I accepted my femine nature, and now I am trying to find a balance.
4. I don't feel the exact same way, more like my spirit flows between middle ground of gender to feminine to masculine. It doesn't feel like conflicting thoughts in my mind, but more conflicting energies within my body. Usually its only one of those 'wake up in the morning' and what gender am I today... The only way I think differently seems to be about sex, and attraction.
1. I guess I've kinda always known, but I didn't have a term for until recently when I was looking through the LGBT articles on Wikipedia.
2. I don't really tell people. It doesn't have an effect on how I am with people, so I don't think they should know. If they ask, I'll tell them.
3. I usually wear t-shirts and jeans, with my boots, and a jacket or hoodie if it's cold. Every once in a while, I wear something that's a bit feminine. And every once in a very long while I'll wear skirts or dresses (usually with shorts underneath. I don't like the way it feels to wear a skirt by itself, just being all open like that).
4. meh. Maybe once in a while, but it's never too bad. I'm usually pretty much in the middle between male and female.
