I know it's meant to be a primary first person game, but if there is a third person view in a game it needs to have some effort put into it.

I'm hoping that was a beta version, as it looks unfinished. o.O

I think this is pretty much how all first person games would look if given the 3rd person option ^^; they all seem to move about the same, don't they?

actually, if you can change into a 3rd person mode, you can find the good animations on some games.

Left 4 Dead 2 has good animations in 3rd person regardless of the events. It keeps it whether what happens around requires said view or not. I don't know how they can move outside the view when not required @_@

You, and everyone else on release day I believe got the Developer Console copy. ... ... I know, they actually sent Steam the WRONG version. Needless to say... how can a company mess THAT up? (big fix is on Friday so they say)

Don't panic, that is the dev copy of the game that was put on steam by mistake, the developer will be send a patch out in the next couple of days in order to turn it in to the full game.
