Go to http://hidemyass.com/ and click on the yellow button that says "Hide My Ass". This should take you to a U.S. server, then you can ditch whatever Germany says you can and can't do. I have the paid service so I haven't used the actual site to connect before so I'm not sure what I.P. it puts you on. Try that and see if it will work.
