I've seen a few of these livestreaming things and so far it seems like they're only for showing an active art program, but is it possible to use a webcam and broadcast footage of traditional media being applied? Just curious to know...

Thank you for clearing that up, I'm hoping one of these days to get at least a fairly good quality webcam and try out that streaming business myself ^.^

Hm, what kind of (hopefully inexpensive)webcam gets a fairly good image quality? Also, do they tend to get a choppy framerate or is like a camcorder with smooth footage?
