Using someone's art without permission is theft.

He/she/IT has been asked to remove it, but instead came back with "I'm not claiming the art.", blah blah.
I informed the artist, and the artist even went and asked that it be removed, but the tard simply hid the comment and continues to use the stolen artwork as an avatar photo.
I find this ironic considering this person had commented on my friend's journal regarding someone stealing her art with "Beat their ass!"
Funny, considering said person is in fact; an art thief.
It doesn't matter if you're not claiming the art as your own, saying you drew it or posting it in your gallery. If you use someone's image without permission, it is THEFT. Period.
I ask you all to go and leave a comment on the moron's journal where she asks if it okay and tell her it is NOT okay and that it is still indeed theft, because she apparently can't get it through her thick skull even after Dagger herself asked for it to be removed.

Reminds me about just how many people are using that one particular image of .. something licking the screen. YOU KNOW THE ONE! Started off with someone who made it for herself on Deviantart years ago, and within days everyone had been making modifications of it/ took it as their own.
The person who did the original pretty sure she did icon commissions of it, I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure.
But yeah, she changed it after some heavy persuasion.
Though, 9 times out of ten, it's a case of just lack of knowledge that it's wrong and usually once you tell them they remove it and apologize.
But, people like this kid make me sick. They have a total disregard for people's privacy and belongings.
I had a friend stop being my friend because she asked someone to make her a fur of that Otter chick on Sexy Fur and as soon as I saw her wearing it, I knew. This was on IMVU, and I confronted her about it and she's all like, "It's no different than fanart." =/
