The day after....

although this is a day late....
Towers burning, fire in the sky our very eyes witness....
Screams like echos and roars fill our ears...
Smoke and burning decay assault our noses....
Loved ones have been taken away, never to see no more, to hear, or to feel...
Fear is born within our hearts....
Children have lost a mother, or a father...
Mothers and Fathers have lost a child...
Husbands and wives,
Brothers and sisters,
Grandparents,
Aunts and uncles.
Cousins,
Friends,
Loved ones,
We have learned that there is cruelness in this world
On this day ten years ago many people lost their lives to recklessness, anger, and hatred... And the fact that people cannot learn acceptance, tolerance, or to be open minded are part of the reason tragedies like this happen... This is a horrible way to debate a disagreement... Whatever happened to rational civilized conversations? This will be in the history books in years to come, but it will be in the hearts of the survivors, and their loved ones forever. So today let's remember these people and have some compassion :) Haha, yeah my poetry sucks but this was on my mind...
On a brighter note, September 11 is also grandparents day!!! So be sure to do something special for them :) Don't know about you guys, but my grandparents are bitchin' awesome :)
