So, we've moved!

Well, mostly x3 Still got a LOT left over at my parents' house, however due to an Abscess attaching itself to my lady bits, I was out of commission for 2 days. Yesterday I did not move hardly at all from the bed or the bath tub. However, between soaking in lava hot water and Witch Hazel compresses as suggested by  gavyn the damn thing finally popped, and I can now resume my life pain free ... mostly.

Work the next four days, so not sure how much, if anything we'll get done other than laundry and unpacking the many boxes we already have here; many are already unpacked we just haven't gotten around to throwing them away yet.

Still a LOT to get for the place, mainly furniture seeing as the only furniture we currently own are our bed, dining room table with 6 chairs ... and that's it. Our room mate,  witchiebunny has her bed and her computer desk. We do not have any living room furniture at all, so if we want to sit out there, it's on the floor or we use one of the dining room chairs x3 Once my mate's PC is hooked back up, I am going to try and open up commissions again, maybe try to earn a few extra bucks that way to help us get some furniture a bit quicker.

20 Minutes until I have to leave for work. We turned the AC off today, and opened all the windows, it's actually rather nice in here. Warm outside, but not too bad inside, and with the breeze blowing into the windows, it makes it a bit cool. We're right on a major road way, so there's a bit of traffic noise, which periodically freaks out the cats, but otherwise it's not a bad location. And while I don't see why any of our cats would do it, it is still a minor worry that if they get out they'd be hurt, if not killed, due to the heavy flow of traffic just outside. So we're making sure to be extra careful when opening the front door.

And while we are by no means done moving, and we still have some stress there, the 3 of us are a lot more relaxed already being away from my parents and their drama. Though they are beginning to annoy  witchiebunny by leaving her voice mails about "It's important, we need Jen to call us!" ... when all they wanna do is, surprise, get into my business despite me not living there anymore -__-; Dad came by today to visit my cat .. yes, my cat, not me ... because he misses him so much. I do kinda feel bad, but he is afterall MY cat, so I had every right to take him with me. The other 2 cats are doing very well, too. They're younger, so they're adjusting better/more quickly.

That's about it. Time to get ready for work, blargh x3 Had 3 days off, spent 1.5 moving and 1.5 restricted to the bathtub ... e___e oi.
