No No No lol! Super Saturday Arcade ran 84-86. It had Donkey Kong,Pitfall Harry,Q Bert,Donkey Kong Junior,and Frogger as characters. Each one had a seperate show on it....One was even a furry! Quick Claw was a Saber Tiger who talked and walked upright!

Anyhow: from that 30 Years, i joined his adventure from '92 to 2004. I just could not imagine haven't had those games around, especially, as Miyamoto always had the clue to make things with little accents a bit more funny (remembers the Exits in Super mario world)...

Well in fact it's Mario's 25th anniversary, but Donkey Kong (starring Mario even if is name was Jumpman) was relased in 1981 so technically it's his 30th anniversary.

He was prolly codenamed Mario, since the inspiration for the original Mario was, well, a janitor in the Nintendo office of the same name that bore a strong resemblance to the plumber we all know lol

Actually, it would be 28 years, seeing Mario Bros. came out in 1983; at the time when Luigi first came about.

Definitely a nice tribute. Too bad the music is "Super high action" for ten minutes -- which kind of kills the enthusiasm after about five minutes of hearing the same high-octane music.

Hard to believe that Mario is only 363 days older than I am. :P
