Is it me? Or most Railfans like Diesels more then Steam Engines?

its because diesel is more of the norm now a days. Yes a railfan is some one how likes and takes pictures of railroad stuff.

If you think about the fact that Diesel's have been around since at least 1926, then yes, you can.

That's easy. It's what they know and remember. Very few railfans that are still very active remember seeing Steam actually running in service.

Well in model train shows. There more Railfan who look at diesels then Steam engines. :(
