Anyways, if you have a diaspora account on any of the public diaspora pods out there, let me know your address!
You can add me by searching snapai[at]social.weanimatethings.com from your local pod. :D
If you DON'T have a Diaspora account yet, the main (testing) Diaspora pod has invites open that you can sign up for....but it would be MUCH faster to simply visit http://podupti.me/ and pick an open sign-up pod and create your account there. :D (click the pod, click sign in, click sign up)
Diaspora is a distributed social network - meaning that it behaves like Facebook or Google Plus, but you can have your account on any Diaspora server, and follow people on any other Diaspora server. (except, maybe, for the JoinDiaspora one, I think they may have server federation turned off there. Notsure.)
In fact, considering how similar Google Plus and Diaspora look, and that Diaspora arrived first, I would not be at all surprised if G+ is actually a fork of Diaspora, without server federation turned on.
So yeah, go sign up if you haven't, and add me! I wanna play with this more. And so do you. >:D
