Creative types in general are, there's so much to it, hard to work when you're not inspired.

Yea I can relate to that actually, I have a hard time motivating myself but I'm good at pushing myself too.

I've been on both ends, it sucks
I think about 300 dollars into an artist right now, and it's been 2 years, doubt I'll ever see it

But like with school if I accept a commission, I will probably never sit down to work on it, but whenever I sit down to work on homework, it'll eat away at me, so that's no good
and then when I try to work on it while say I have homework, or some other obligation, I feel guilty about that
then when I finally do get some time to work on it, I won't be inspired, and it'll take me like 3x as long, I STILL do the work, it's just very slow, when I'm inspired though I can fire through a 'high' quality illustration in a night

I promise to myself that I'll be more ambitious when I'm out of school, and I really think I can be, I'm ALWAYS on top of stuff when it's for school, so once it's my only job or whatever in life, I think I'll be able to do it.

Damn. How long ago did you commission these artists?

I haven't commissioned anyone in a while. I'm almost afraid to commission someone I don't know that well. I'd rather commission the artists I already know I can deal with.
