What the heck?

Okay, I promise this isn't yet another of those "BWHAA PONIES" journals that's been plaguing my inbox all day — those are silly.
Instead, I'll have something else to be annoyed about: lately, my inbox found itself full of human/elf/vampire/mostly-human art (mostly porn). Did this site become Skin Affinity while I wasn't looking? Is there a pact going around that artists I watch should stop drawing anthro animals and focus on drawing anthro humans instead?

Food doesn't grow on trees, you know. Artists somehow gonna make for a living, and the today's market is dominated by humanoid stuff. So they use their fan-base to test the water, see if their human porn is as good as furry one. That's how I see it, basically. The elves are a reminder that the furry fandom is only a small fraction of the global art/comics share.

It is interesting how that has seem to pop up more lately, but I recall also a time when the Y! Gallery site was doing that full-on ban of furry art and strictly gay male anime human style porn. *shrugs* I just click by the human and look for the bare fur :D
