I think the same as you, personally. I also find it pretty amusing where people's minds automatically go. But like I said in a previous journal, if they were a bunch of people not in fursuits, no one would have paid it any attention

I just don't get what all the dramu is about. Of all the crazy, horrible, dirtywrong things to come out of this fandom. Let's face it, the only people that care about this video at all are either furries themselves or trolls looking for lulz who are either also furries or were never going to like furries anyway

Personally, I think the vid was made for fun and taken out of context. Done as a music video sort of thing and then posted by trolls to make furries go OMG NOES! It's been pretty successful so far in freaking out a few furs.

There are only two of those suits that I could really see as ACTUALLY being sexorz suits. (one because of the maker, the other because of the past of the suit).

In general, I like the video, personally, and if it was just posted on a furry site it wouldn't really bring up too much of a fuss, but.. shoved onto youtube with trolls... well... it's gunna get flack.

I think they did a good job on the video personally. It takes talent to put these things together, and I enjoyed watching it, thought it was cool.
I feel bad that we can't just post mock music vids like this for fun and enjoy them without trolls taking it into a negative context.

I doubt this was intended to be put up publicly and yeah looks out of context. It looks like someone spent a shitload of time making a music video and someone did that to it. :/

the best part is with that tags how they were i flaged it for hate speech against LGBT Hopefully Youtube admins will see it for being what it is

but that was a PRIVATE link only people who had access to the direct link was able to see/download it

knowing that the video was just made for fun, kinda like a mock music video with fursuiters, I think it's pretty cool and very well done. But I think it fricken sucks that a troll had come across it somehow and now is portraying it as "What the fandom is all about". I think videos like this take time and creativity to produce and I enjoy them. I just hate it when things are twisted and taken out of context to make them bad.

I don't dislike the video, I just think that if it's private it should have stayed that way.........

Yea, this video was orginally posted privately/unlisted and with age restriction. It could only be seen if you had the link to it. However it got out to some non furs on some bad websites and then someone reposted it on youtube just to troll us.
I was told though that before it was private/unlisted it was submitted without being unlisted and without the age restriction. I don't know if there is any truth in that though. When I first saw it via journal it was still unlisted. However about a day after she posted that it got taken down and this was posted up.
I don't know why she is throwing a hissy fit about it, she used to have videos of her in her fursuit on x-tube and last I checked that was a public site as well.

I loved the video. I really could care less what trolls are gonna think of us, they already think we're just perverts in fetish suits. Was just a bit worried about newbies to the cause. But! We are "mostly" adults in the fandom, we can't live our entire lives in fear that someone somewhere is going to stereotype us. Kinda like living in fear of terrorists, this is exactly what the trolls and haters want! The video was done jokingly and honestly it coulda been A LOT worse lol. Yes some in the fandom do take it wayyyy too far, but that shouldn't hinder the rest of us from making a bit of fun of ourselves. But that's my 2 cents.

In every group of people you have diversity. Some people find the fandom sexy. Is that really so wrong? You have people who think paintings are "sexy", or music is "sexy", or cartoons (anime anyone?) is "sexy". At the same time, you have members of the furry community who are "not yiffy" at all. They enjoy it in a different way. Relax. If you don't like it, don't watch it. Me? I absolutely love this video! It's very well edited and kudos to the furries who participated. Keep having fun!

Personally, I see nothing wrong with it...everybody already "thought" this about our sub culture anyhow...at least they were nice looking suits!!! But yeah, theirs gonna be haters out there having a field day with our fandom now. Ahh well, nothing more expensive than regret~yet again.

I actually liked the video. Once someone realizes it was made for fun then it's not all that bad. Even my siblings didn't think it was all that bad. Plus there's some really great fursuits made by a favorite fursuit maker in it.

Anyway, just as someone said it only catch so many eyes since it involves suits. Put regular people in the same positions and then it becomes *dramatic theme* a Hip Hop music video. It's not like this is the first or last attempt at trolling furries.

All I can say is I'm looking more forward to suiting to prove the negative thoughts wrong and will welcome the haterism!

The video was directed by EZ Wolf and it was supposed to be a private video just for those that were in the room. I see nothing wrong with the video itself, it's the trolls that are posting it and calling it sex. There is no sex going on in that video. Just some dancing and good times.
