News out of Baltimore: Radio Interview with Samuel Windance
Intro Music:
Radio Announcer: Allright Sports Fans it is 5 past the hour and we have a treat for
you. A special person has called us here on your favorite sports station. We know it
the offseason but some blockbuster deals have gone down. And now with out further
pomp and circumstance I give ya the owner of your Baltimore Spirits.
Samuel Windance: It is great to be here if only my PR people knew I was calling
in they advised me to stay out of the light for awhile. But hey I figure I can give
them something to do. Hell what do ya think I am paying them for. Wait I can say Hell
on this station right?
Radio Announcer: I think you just did. So lets get down to business you have already
started making some changes. The Retirment of Mince and then the almost immediate
hiring of her as General Manager. Also the deal to bring in Lobochevski and Quinn.
So lets see where to begin.
Samuel Windance: How about with Mary Mince. When I took over this team she was the
face of the franchise. I mean multiple time all star in her day and really like the
heart and soul of the team. This was her team she also demstrated a strong sense of
leadership taking a back seat as well to help the team. I am really glad she accpeted
that GM position I left it open in hopes she would take it. Adding her to the staff
will only make us stronger.
Radio Announcer: I saw that it was open and for the life of me was wondering why it
was open. Well it looks like we are up against the break. We will have more to come
about the spirits soon so stay tuned.
*music plays as the station goes to break and station identification and after a few
commercials the intro music plays again*
Radio Announcer: Allright this Smilin' Sam Pruitt on KTNX and this is your sports hour
Baltimore. If just tuned in we have a special guest with us that called in. I mean
this wasnt planned on our end but we sure welcome it. We have with us Mr. Windance
the owner of your Baltimore Spirits.
Samuel Windance: You dont have to call me Mr. Windance that sounds to formal. As
well you are right my PR department has been texting me about my location and to get
off the air immediatly. Well like I said before I gotta give them something to do
dont I. I mean what else can I do and I think the fans deserve to hear what is going
on with their team.
Radio Announcer: True more owners should tell their fans what is going on but anyways
lets get back to some of these trades you made. Like trading Thurl Sparhawk for Mikhal
Lobochevski. As well as the trade that shocked the town by trading Vishnu Cross for
Stripes Quinn and 1 million in salary cap.
Samuel Windance: Well lets see Thurl was little used and with the loss of Rebel
Coyote we needed to get another physical player in here and we felt Lobochevski might
give us that. I mean he has been a starter in this league for years now.
Radio Announcer: Well isnt it true you played more games without Rebel than with him?
Samuel Windance: That may be true but his mere presence in the games gave this team
a toughness that is needed to compete against a team like the Dakota Bikers. And that
is what I want a team that will compete hard and physically night in and night out.
Also just having Rebel at practice help make the team stronger because even in
practice Rebel played hard.
Radio Announcer: Well what about the trade that shocked everyone in Baltimore I mean
it was like front of the sports page here. I think it read Vishnu Cross sent packing?
I mean we thought you flipped trading him.
Samuel Windance: *audible sigh* It was nothing like that. Vishnu is a hell of a
player if given a chance I would have loved to see him still in a Baltimore uniform.
It was not a decision that was taken lightly. I mean I talked with Vishnu Cross and
Basil about the trade days before we did the deal. Vishnu is starter material but
with staying with Baltimore he would give that up and always play behind Windcreek.
So we gave him that chance to start and we got cap space and a good young player.
Radio Announcer: So you are certain Windcreek is staying?
Samuel Windance: That is totally up to hir, but we are going to do everything we
can to keep hir with the team. Shi is now the face of the franchise and I am willing
to show hir that we are committed to winning and that hir home is here.
Radio Announcer: Well I am sure the fans would love to see hir stay.
Samuel Windance: That is the plan. Well lets see I been seeing lately that many
furres chiming in as well as owners. About this whole Zip and Stoat business. I admit
I was shocked to say the least. I mean the Rapids giving up Stoat what is that crazy
owner doing. I mean I am thought of being a rebel with decisions. If I had Stoat I
sure as hell wouldnt give him up for Xavier Knutten. I mean no disrespect to the
squirrel. He is a fine player but he is not even in the same league as Stoat even
with one eye.
Radio Announcer: WoW! going off a bit on Mr Knutten are you not?
Samuel Windance: No I am just stating I think Mr. Stoat has more to offer in
intagibilities and toughness than Mr. Knutten. That is just me.
Radio Announcer: *claps slowly* Well I never thought we would here that on the radio.
Samuel Windance: Well I have to go for now seems my PR found me and is beating down
the door with whatever they can find. *chuckles* I am almost done.....give me a second
*shouts over his shoulder*. Sorry about that but well gotta go.
Radio Announcer: Thanks for coming on and it was a pleasure to talk to you. Please
do come on again we would love to here from ya again.
Samuel Windance: Allright I plan on it if I can escape my PR again. *hangs up*
Radio Announcer: Well this is Smilin' Sam Pruitt and that was your owner. It seems
like things are heating up. And remeber to buy those season tickets for your Baltimore
Spirits it sounds like the season is going to shape up to be a really good one. Next
up after the break we will take some phone calls from the fans to get your reactions
to Samuel Windance and his statements about your team. For now listen to these
commercials.
*outro music plays as they go to break*.
well needed to at least post it somewhere *smiles* I hope yall enjoy.

Talk about a crazy PR team!

Tobu
~tobu
OP
Samuel is not much for hiding behind a PR team he likes to say what is on his mind which usually drives the people who work for him crazy well the PR side of things. He just feels it keeps them busy and that is what they are paid for but he does like to come out and say things. They pretty much were able to keep him under wraps all last season so it was bound to happen.
