THE BEST OF ROOM 366!
So a certain video has been making the rounds
Privacy issues and the wisdom of posting something online you don't want going public aside, YES! I love it. I love the fandom's ridiculous rep. I love that these guys aren't doing anything terribly explicit and it's extremely kinky. To some people. (most won't care though. Sorry fursecution junkies, most people Just. Don't. Care. )
And most of all, I love what happens when a scrap of material gets processed by the internet.
THAT ONE SUIT, AWESOME NIGHTMARE FUEL
(if you made and/or own the suit - keep rocking it, it brings me much joy)
Hitler's reaction
Although I love it. Keep talking about it. This is my favorite kind of drama. I hope "room 366" now and forever means "room full of fursuiters dancing gaily"
I'm not ranting, I'm sharing! And I want more! Post your favorite fallout from the video. <3 Or Something Completely Different!

FA+

but this kind of touches on another subject and im going to go with it for the hell of it. so i guess i kind of realized, if you want people to understand the fandom is diverse and not just people who like fucking in animal costumes, the "normal" furries in denial who maybe just draw anthro need to own up to the term furry. i find it pretty agitating when someone who has an FA and posts anthro art emphasizes THEY ARE NOT A FURRY, NO SIR. i understand they don't want to be associated with the more questionable aspects of the fandom, really i do, but that just perpetuates the stereotype by drawing an imaginary divide. furry doesn't mean you are a lifestyler, being a lifestyler means youre a lifestyler :T DUDES JUST OWN UP, YOU ARE A FURRY. yes it's a label, if you don't label yourself others will gladly do it for you, THERE IS NO ESCAPE, ONE OF US ONE OF US ahem. lol.
anyways thats just my little 2 cents for the evening :0)
... although I can't help but think it might be equally likely they'd be intrigued instead XP
I do think it's funny when folks are on FA, go to cons, have costumes, etc but "Aren't furry"... then again before I had friends in the fandom I didn't really consider myself a "furry" because I'm more into horror and thought "furry" was all about being cutesy. SO I CAN'T REALLY TALK oh well. :B
:V methinks the furry doth protest too much!
Hells yeah, I've met a lot of awesome other horror types through the fandom. It really is ridiculously inclusive! (I've also met not-horror-types who are also awesome - I met my fiance at a halloween furmeet!)
