Well we're starting to get somewhat settled in here. We've just about got our jobs down pat, though there were a few wrinkles that jammed things up causing us to work 15 hours for a few days getting things sorted out. The night and day shift schedules are falling into place and evening out the work load too.

I've also noticed this place is a lot more active than than most would believe. On top of the daily intel that gets passed down, stories from two of my friends tell of all the hostile activity in the region, so you have to be careful out here; even on base.

I still have a few safety courses I need to take before I can leave on convoys, however. Till then I'm stuck in the office supporting the guys in the front however I can.
