your eye has stayed with you since yer film days -
I think you need to concentrate on useing the camera you got
along with yer nikkon to shoot back to the level or photography
you'd been doing years ago.

I like yer recnet pics hon - I need you to flip to the M
mode and vary your settings more until you get what
you're really looking for.

I don't really know a lot about composition, (aside from that jive about ley-lines, but that's sort of an intuitive thing.) I just know what looks good, your pics look good. I do a bit of photography myself, but I'm really trying to just exhibit my subjects rather than really practice the art of photography in and of itself.

well, what composition are you writing?/....

From a quick look at your gallery, I can say one thing: don't always put your subject in the center of the picture.
