Puter go boom. Again.

I've lost count of the amount of times my computer has failed. Let's see... last time was the video card, I believe. Now it's the power supply. Luckily, it's only Tuesday evening, so maybe I'll be able to get a replacement shipped in before the weekend. Unfortunately, all the shops around here sell pretty average consumer parts, nothing like the 800W PSU I need as a bare minimum. < u.u >
Maybe if I stopped buying bleeding edge gear, I'd stop getting cut... Oh well. Wish me luck.

Anyway, seriously I hope you have your problems solved once for all soon *hugs*
Closest thing we have are some stores like Harvey Norman that sell a few pre-built computers. Those of us who like to build our own computers get our bits from small, privately run stores, be they real or online dealers.
Good luck, dear heart!
Yours,
Mika
When I added it all up on a calculator, it came out saying I'd want a 798W PSU, or something. I was light on money at the time and skeptical so I got an 800W. Maybe I should've gone for something bigger. :P
On the matter of power supply failings, that could be due to the manufacturer (as some are far less than reliable and put out less than the rated power).
Good luck, love!
Yours,
Mika
