Oh, it's this post again.

And here I was making the argument why people dislike MLP is because the fans are annoying and post it everywhere.

No one has been pushing it on me, but thats mostly because I don't talk to anyone anymore :P

It's like a fever man, its spreading! I've only watched one episode myself and I don't see all the fuss either...but people have been pushing to have me continue on saying it gets better...

I'm scared.

I actually like the show. And not to be on the bandwagon either. I actually started out hating it BECAUSE it was so popular and getting on my nerves. Finally, when my boyfriend told me he liked it I was like "Fine! I'll watch it!" being all "I'm going to give it a shot so that no one can tell me to "At least watch the show" anymore" But... as fate would have it I liked the first two part episode. It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling like I haven't had since I was young. It's a completely honest show. No political innuendo, no racisim, no sexism, no hidden slander of special interest groups, no unfair bias towards a cause no one cares about. I mean it's just a show about ponies and friendship. And the ponies are cute. And the art style isn't any more bland than your average anime. In fact, in that way, it's a lot like anime. Cheap technique with attention to detail only in teh backgrounds. But it's not really for the animation connoisseur. It's a kid show and only fulfills what it needs to be just that. So if you actually hate the show because of the animations style, you went into it expecting far too much.

tl;dr I like it but it's not for everyone. In a little while only the people who genuinely like the show for what it is will care about it.

I just learned to laugh at it rather than with it, through youtube vids.
