Well, the chipset is usually the important part, not who stuck the chips on a board. Usually Windows will show that info in the Device Manager.

If it says Intel, then yeah, their graphics chips suck. (and not in the good way... ) If it's an Nvidia GeForce, even an old AGP-slot GeForce 5900 can handle SecondLife, even if just barely. Can't really tell you which ATI models are good or bad. Something like 3DFX, Trident, Matrox... those are pretty ancient, yeah.

Yeah, people seem to not want to do your stuff and feel the need to stuff their bizarre twists in and claim it to be collaboration, when it's them telling you your idea sucks :T that and odd anime people who seem all high strung and snooty are all over! Meh~

i like mkaing crappy things just work. (dual-core AM2 Athlon X2, MB from the year 2008 or so, Radeon HD3650, and 2 gigs of DDR800 (run in 512-dual-channel-pairs))

and wow runs might fine :) barely any video lag, nice response times and (barring my region's general crappy net infrastructure, aka latency) i can actually out-lag other "high end" systems, even in a battlefield. and you know the general rule of thumb in MMO's: Lag = Death, so Less lag then others = more death on others.

and my systems is... by far concidered "new" or "up-to-date" or "good" >..> hell newest peice of computer in this thing is fomr half a decade ago >..> and that i JUST upgraded a month ago! LOL
