hello i just wanted to ask around. about a 2 months ago i finally learned what a fur suitor was and what a furry was. shortly after words i was thinking how cool it was and it was something i wanted to try to do and join in the community. about a month and half ago i went to Saturdays market and walked around in the fur suit i had made shortly after feeling like trying it out. shortly after i was greeted by so many people, hugs, hi fives, picture takings, etc. i also made someones day big time.

the reason why i talked about this discussion is wondering has anyone here ever gone out in pubic in a fur suit before? if so have you any stories would you like to share? i will list my big story on the bottom, i felt so good after that day was done. I could not really explain on how i really felt. just knowing i put a smile on a lot of peoples face and brighten the mood. So great to watch little kids come up and pet my tail and stuff. some wanted to give me hugs and one even called me Micky mouse XD. though i was called allot of things that day. i know my suit looks horrible but was my first one and was surprised that allot of people like what it looked like. then again people in Oregon Portland area are almost all big art fans so we support each other.

Also for those who might be new on doing this it would be recommended that you do this with someone else or bring a helper or two. i found that out in a kinda bad way but wasn't that bad. for those who try this be warned you might meet people who will think poorly of you and call out some names. i had this happened to me before. other then that if you have experience please tell me about it!!! and what kind of character are you dress up as!! :)


Ok for those wondering whose life i changed that day was a man in his late 20's early 30's. I happened to see him on a bench and i thought he was laughing, while talking on the phone so i sneaked up behind him and leaned closer. when i realized he was crying, shortly after he noticed i was there. he got spooked but then he asked if he could hug me cause he really needed one. so i gave him a hug, as he sat back down i rubbed his shoulder showing i was concerned for him. He then asked if i could listen to him cause he wanted to get a wait off of his shoulders. so i nodded and shortly afterwards he went to telling me story of how his life came apart. How his wife just passed away and his two kids around 10 years was taken from him, that he could not know where they were, that he just lost his job and was being kicked out on the streets in just a week. when he was done he gave me a hug again and told be i had made his day and thanks for taking the time to listen. i felt that if i had not sat with him making squeaking noises and making him laugh that he might of killed himself. he had talked like it was the end for him but before we was done. i did speak to him and encouraged to him that he needed to keep holding on, not for his shake but for his kids his wife left for him to take care of. though he had no one to turn too but i told him if he was to meet others like me, we'd be more then willing to help him out spiritually and mentally.

hope this would inspire others cause this had made my day hearing i made theirs, after making them stop crying and smile. :)
