Seeking Art advice..

I am by no means a great artist. Though I am trying to improve my skill enough so I can feel good enough to psot something here.
Well I am currently using crayola colored pencils, when I try to scan a pciture, the colors are badly faint. I am not sure if I need to use another type of pencil or maybe markers? I can not for the life of me do anything digitaly. All I have is paint nayways and that program doesnt seem too easy, for me at least.
So I am asking for advice of anyone who might read this. ANy suggestions for coloring, to make the colors pop more?

I absolutly hate paint! XP I cant use it very well either. And I know what your saying about the scanning. That happens to me alot too. My artwork always looks better in person. Do you have a camera? cause that may work for you. And your not a great artist because nobody can see your work! X3 I want to see some of the stuff that you do. I love working with pencil crayons. They are my favorite media. A suggestion to make the colours pop more would be to darken them by pressing a bit harder on the paper. Another way is to use darker shades rather than lighter shades, it could make the picture stand out more. Anyways those are two things you could try. I hope it was a little helpful haha. Cant wait to see some of your artwork ^^
