I... have some troubles & problems & questions on fur's painting recently
you can see I don't have lots of great or something spent times stuff
only sketch sketch sketch... or water color sketch......:(
maybe I'm so lazy or so coward that can't do the fur stuff by oil painting or ink or something else...
*sigh~*

especially when I painting without a thorough plan...
well, I'll keep trying anyway :)
On most of them you wouldn't think that its an "unfinished" piece.
maybe just fnd a photo you really like . . . something like a wolf in snow with a few trees and a wintery sky. Sketch it lightly and carefully onto your paper. Plan here you will need wet-on-wet brushwork and where more detail is necessary. Judge how you will use colors to tie the image together. Any small, detailed white areas can be masked with friisket (I'm thinkin maybe a flurry of snow, kickesd up by a poouncing wolf or fox, hehe!
Make it good and big so you have a lot of room to work with.
It may feel restrictive or boring to plan it all out instead of doing quick gestural sketches . . . but I think the end result would be worth it, something to be very proud of, to say "look, I painted that, it is finished, and now I have a lovely piece of art for my walls, a friend's walls, or to sell for $300!!"
I always enjoy seeing progress pics of a work, it he;lps to have fresh eyes looking at a piece before it is completed.
Best wishes and happy painting!
多試跟思考別人是怎麼完成的
慢慢的你就會知道要怎麼完成作品
Anyone who paints the above can hardly say they have troubles with painting fur. It looks just perfect to me. :D
