I'm baaack~ I had an absolutely fantastic time. However I had the plane trip from hell..
Essentially, I got fucked up the ass. I'm currently on hold with Air Canada and have been for the past 25 minutes. UA refused to supply me with accommodations for the night because I'm a minor, so I slept at a hotel with two guys I met heading in the same direction as me..
I was booked for 7 different flights, I ended up on four different planes, Security overall was fine, but the ridiculous CSC line made me upset. Not to mention they lost, literally, over half the plane's luggage. Only ten bags arrived properly.
the Ottawa thing is because they told us it was canceled due to a snow storm all around the area. Like a huge storm.
I spent all day in O'Hara yesterday, with no money, no food, nothing but the clothes on my back. etc. (I'll tell you the whole story later Martin, so you understand more, there was a lot of stuff I shouldn'tve had to deal with, also, every pilot I had was very kind and seemed to know what they were doing).
Overall, I'm tired, but I had an adventure, I met some really interesting people. But I'm just a really patient person in the sense of dealing with bullshit, I saw a woman take a tantrum and cry. Oh, and a guy got arrested in the airport. Etc etc.
Essentially to recoup here's a time line.
Arrive at airport at 10:30(an hour and a half early like they request), find out flight scheduled for 12:15 is canceled due to heavy snow, wait in customer service line for nearly an hour(like 50 minutes or something), have a woman who barely speaks English with a heavy 'black' accent tell me to RUN to section D(which is on the other side of the terminal, and the other terminal btw, IE as far away as possible) because the plane they redirected me on boarded five minutes ago, I get there five minutes late, too late. I go to customer service, I wait in like for an hour and twentyish minutes next to a guy with like 9 kids two of which have the chicken pox(poor guy, they oversold his tickets, he'd been trying to get around for over twenty hours), anyhow, I finally get to the thing, I wait for a while longer and the only flight she has until the next day is to Chicago then Halifax, I accept.
This part was cool, I fly first class to Chicago(I sat next to the most interesting man..), I arrive, they don't have any information about the Halifax flight apparently, an hour later they do, I wait for four hours until the scheduled flight, they delay, I wait, they delay, I wait, they delay, seven hours later and no food since 9am that morning, they cancel. I wait with some interesting fellows in line for an hour, they tell us there's three seats for a flight to New york at 8am the next day. We accept, they go off and start booking their hotel while they tell me that they cannot make accommodation for me because I'm a minor, I ask them what am I going to do, they say uhhh..., then the fellows come back and ask me if they can help out because they're going to have space in the room, this works out lovely and I do this(keep in mind I've never met these guys, I'd been talking to them for hours and they might know someone I know.. but at this point I was so sick of not having a shower), anyhow, we wait for the shuttle, pizza(OHASDJFKLASJDFKL this was so good after such a long day), movie, sleeeeep.
Flight is delayed, we get on plane, we wait an hour on the plane to fly out because of air traffic, we fly, we arrive late, we go to the next gate for Halifax, they tell us there's an error in our tickets, we go to the CSD, we wait for an hour, we talk to them, they send us to the other side of the terminal, we get stuff looked at, we go back to the CSD, we wait twentyish minutes, we get our stuff, we go back the the gate, we go through security, one guy's bag goes off and so do he, we wait for him to be searched etc, we get in the terminal, guy goes berserk and is arrested, we wait, flight delayed, we wait, flight is delayed, we wait, flight delayed, flight ALMOST canceled, flight goes on! We board tiny little cramped smelly plane, plane stays put for an hour and a half(literally :|), we fly, we arrive! Gate agent leaves us on plane for twenty minutes, we go through customs, we go to baggage, most of the plane's baggage is not there, two hours of forms and waiting in line later, they tell me my bag isn't there yet.
We drive home, I call them and they tell me my bags arrived this afternoon and they'll mail me, but I have to call Air Canada. So here I am, 45 minutes on hold.
(there's lots of worse little things, but that's a time line of important thingies)

Well, I hope you were treated well whilst here in New York, my home town. I hope nothing bad happens to you next time you travel.
You've my hopes and prayers, and my joy at seeing you home safely.

The President was flying all Monday, so that had a lot to do with it, and what with the tornadoes and snow storms all around, well..
It was insane! It's a good thing I'm extremely patient and passive.
I hope you will be able to recover from this hellish travel.
