advice for keeping cool?
my life is just going wrong on all directions right now.
I know things will get better - just have to keep telling myself that.
Nothing stays this low forever, but I would sure like some things that you guys do to make yourself feel better - especially things you do alone.
I don't have many friends here, and my farther off friends, sweetie, corgibug and galaxys should hopefully be coming to my rescue this weekend.
I could really use a hug.

I do hope everything gets better for you girl.
Call me dumb, or note me please and explain how to properly do it, but when I think still I just dwell.
Took my years to train myself to not fidget and actually meditate.
I find that to be the hardest part, is getting to that state.
I'll post some interesting links to help, if this is a path you are considering.

and of course other times maybe you just need someone to vent to, in which case I am always around c:
Really, I feel like I'll feel loads better once I actually get out and do something with people I really care about. Otherwise, it's like no matter what I do, I still feel alone - even with my family just downstairs, but they don't much care for my feelings, as much as I try to confide in them. They just never seem to understand, if only they'd just listen.
My grades are due soon, too, and they are just terrible. And they'll probably beat me down on that too regardless of any explanation I have to offer them. Ughh.
but if you have the ability, drive, walk, bike, bus to places. just get out of the house, get fresh air. go to the mall and window shop, try free samples, drown yourself in every available scent at bath&body works. go to the beach and move rocks to find crabs. go to the movie theater and watch something. maybe an animal shelter and just spend some time with the dogs.
as for the grades, if you need help with something, find a tutor, ask the teachers for help. that's why they're there. if you don't understand something, there's a whole school full of people that are paid to help you learn. ask what you can do for extra credit.
I wish I were closer. Well, technically I am closer now.. but closer to the point I could just drive over. Or walk over. Which would be even better.
In all honesty? I draw to make myself feel better.. either that or watch funny things on Youtube or on tv. I try to stay away from anything negative or unnerving. That and a hot bath with a good magazine to read. Try to keep your mind occupied with little things like that. I'm like you.. I don't like being alone with my thoughts. =(
I've been drawing like a butthole. I feel like some things work sufficiently only for some time, then I feel like I have to find something else to keep my mind busy.
Hot bath with maybe some warm milk sounds good, though. Think I will go for that tonight. <3
I'm in a pretty dangerous place when I'm alone in my thoughts. I'm a self-pitying monster and I'll sit there and make myself feel like shit, literally.
Hang in there, is pretty much all I can say. Just try to keep yourself busy, I always find that helps me. Even if it's small, menial stuff.
If you're ever feeling especially down, you can always text me. <3
Best advice to stay cool
teach me.
That's why I suggested to stop giving them out
In fact, I should really head out to the school library tomorrow and see if I find something interesting. :>
Tis why I ended up watching my little pony, because it was the only thing that didn't relate to one of my problems right now hahaha.
ceeezar
naps
take a bubble bath/shower
if something particular you're doing/reading/etc is what's upsetting you, walk away and do something different. a change of scenery helps
if you have pets with you, smother them with love/play with them
draw, but maybe challenge yourself to draw something upbeat
cook something
a nice herbal bubble bath ughh.
cooking would only make me more mad. i burn everything besides cereal. and i'm sure one day I'll find a way to mess that up too hahaa
I have so many favorite songs, some of which I can't even listen too, but I've been doodling some to my songs. <3 I may post them in a spam dump soon.
I'm so sorry. I understand the feeling, I'm like...when the heck am I gonna catch a break?
Grr
Well keep your head up please!
Just waiting for the day to come that I'm okay with everything again - that everything's just stable and I can breathe without a worry. <3
I'll try my besttesttt, as I have been. <3 thank you.
Ever since the last time I had gotten heat exhaustion. Ugh, scary scary time. Just been kinda lazy with it since, but I've been wanting to take up excersizing more again. Simply to get healthier and in shape, and because I plan on doing softball soon. :>
coffee sounds good right now too *__*
I understand this all too well!!
I was exercising like a fiend but things just keep happening and happening. I've fallen into bad habits including not going to the gym as often as I want.
I think it'll help tho'. Please do exercise, if you can. We both sound like we could use some attention on ourselves. Remember, -you- are someone you need to take care of, too. Once you're not invisible to yourself it helps, really.
I really should take that up again and write some more. Can't imagine what extraordinary help I'll receive from it this time.
Unfortunately I can't find a new environment, as I attend school for one more year, but I'll surely be trying my best to visit with people soon. <3
Thank you so much. ;v;
I don't do drugs, hehehe and probably won't ;v;
Also going out for a walk but considering it gets dark too soon, ehh...
yea its dark now. don't wanna get raped. but tomorrow I was fancying going out for a run <3
Game? I play a FB game where I attack people, it manages to distract me for a little bit, and I know two flash game sites :V
Walk with a music device, I do that a lot, usually go to the store
and shows, I may be shy, but I love to do things like watch shows and play games with people, if you don't mind me asking alot. I'm just restarting on my messengers and I probably will ask a lot as I and down to 3 of 15 :V
They've all proven to be wonderful advice that I'm definitely keeping in mind for the future.
I play TF2 quit a bit though, and minecraft, and they do keep things at bay for the most time, as well as music does.
If you want to share your messengers, do tell me, I'd be more than happy to play games with ya sometime. :>
Skype is YuriRamenMan
Minecraft helps me when i feel down.
I'm trying my best not to be <3
What makes me feel better?
My favorite song that makes me feel good.
A cup of my favorite beverage.
A warm blanket.
And something random to make me enjoy myself, be it Jeff Dunham, my #1 movie, or a random Youtube video:

THAT GUYYYYY
I guess the idea is that it easier to be happy if you're laughing, and harder to dwell when you're thinking about jokes...
Thank you <3
Hmm.... When I'm trying to get through something, I take a nice hot bath, pour myself some tea, snuggle up in a plush bathrobe, light some candles, turn off the lights, and sit down with one of my favourite movies.
.....There's also yoga! Guided, in a class works best for forgetting problems. There's free classes at the YMCA if you're a member there?
and ohh! theres actually a ymca a few blocks away from here! i may check it out for yoga :>
That and video games.
The important part is that all of these are basically things that can be done whilst limiting multitasking to a minimum. Plus as a bonus, all can be done from a most useful implement of an house when wishing to relax: "zeh" comfy couch(when available). When on the PC, it's easy to start one thinking thinking I'll relax... then IMs starts popping up, or I make the mistake of openning an internet browser and then the first thing I know, I'm multitasking so much I'm actually making myself feel worst.
As such, if you wishes to play game, I'd reccomend a tv gaming console. Make yourself some coffee(or any other beverage of choice, though warm coffee or tea tends to feel that much recomforting to me. Especially when maple syrup is available as a sweetener).
Then head to the couch, either in a plush bathrobe or such other warm wrapping, and starts playing a console game(though I reccomend avoiding games which you know can be frustrating to you)/movie or reading a book. Ideally something that will keep your attention on it and not about all that is stressing you, thus preventing you from mulling the later over and over in your head until it's all you can think of(this later part being why I'm posting this because of knowing how I can be prone to it myself. It is a very easy trap to fall in).
Otherwise... for the shortened version: Comfy couch. Warm comforting beverage(tea, coffee, herbal tea. Whichever you prefer). Entertaining and attention holding simple book, movie, or console game* that you can easily read/watch/play at a leasurely and non-frustrating pace. :)
(Console Gaming wise, some of my favorites are simple and non-complex jRPG like the Dragon Quest series, or platformers like the Mario Galaxy games. Both shows gameplay such that it's easy to keep focused on them, yet keep it simple enough that it's rarely much frustrating, thus creating a very leasurely pace of gaming).
For things to chill I play game (video games either on comp or console) I find drawing as a nice relieve sometimes helps me to express. Going for a nice long walk... Maybe reading a book perhaps..
Just a few ideas =3
