Why, yes. It is a good series, as are the SMT games in general.

If you like difficult RPGs, Atlus' SMT series should be up your alley. The Persona series is on the "Easy" side for them though. From what I've experienced at least.

I honestly prefer Persona 3. But that's just my opinion.

Well I "beat" Persona 4 as of right now. And I have to say, I think 3 has a better plot and setting, and music. 4 has better characters to me, most of them were likeable.

Yeah. Characters were more likable, but 3 has the plot, setting, and music, for sure. Especially when you [Spoilers for those who haven't beat Persona 3] face Nyx inside the moon, and can't be killed.[/Spoiler] The music is just AWESOME.
