Hello i need help for some reason my data disc on a DVD R wont work and i want to get the files off of it or recover them some how is there any way of doing that ?

have you tried on another computer if DVD works?

It may be because your CD-DVD Drive is DVD-R- only. You might need to purchase an external DVD-R+ drive to read the data.
