- Close Friends can commission/draw my characters in any rating they want (G-XXX) without my permission :3
- Close Friends may also commission/draw my characters with their own characters in any rating they wish (G-XXX) without my permission, as my close friends know the limitations on my characters :3
Everybody Else:
- You may commission/draw my characters on their own in any rating you wish! (G-XXX) without my permission
- You may commission/draw your characters in a PG-13 situation with my characters without my permission :3
- If you wish to have your characters in an ADULT situation (R-XXX) with my characters, Please obtain my permission first before commissioning/drawing! :3
Awesome People and Close Friends Part 1
So for the second time in just a couple of weeks, someone decided that they would take Janice without my permission, and start using them for role playing purposes. This was once again on F-List, which seems to be a popular place for people to go for role playing these days <.<
So originally i asked an Admin to take the character down, which the Admin this time (Different Admin from the first experience) was like: "Why dont you just ask them to take it down?" so i thought 'okay' and actually did note the person to remove the character.
I was actually surprised by the amount of hostility the person gave me :/ When i first asked, they were all "Okay, but can i keep Janice listed as one of my characters?" Ummmm... No... Janice is not your character, so no, you cannot keep her as your character...
This is where the 'Holy Shit' starts
I have seen this in so many journals now from other people, so I'm sure this is nothing new to some of you. The person actually responded with "Come on, this is a form of marketing! You should be grateful!" Ummmmm, first of all, a) You should really ask permission to market someone's character, and b) the things you were marketing? Were a complete misrepresentation of the character I had created. So the person gives me the old "Fine, Whatever <_<" routine.
You would think it would stop there right? Oh no...
I got one last note from them with: "So what's going to happen with the other Janice? Your FAIL of a character?" Excuse me? xD I hardly think Janice can be considered a 'FAIL' character, seeing as how so many people seem to want her :P
But quite honestly, i dont care what people think of Janice. I'm going to keep writing my stories about her, developing her character, and i will continue to enjoy doing so :3 As to whether people out there like the stories or not, well that's their choice xD I'm going to do what i like to do best, and if people dont like the way i develop Janice's character, they can stop watching me :3 I know some people out there read my stories and think that I'm being totally unrealistic... Well that's your opinion xD I'll continue to write what i enjoy x3
SO LET'S GET ONE THING CLEAR
Janice is MY character. I dont need anybodies help 'Marketing' her. I'm approaching the 5000 watcher mark, i really honestly think by this point i dont need any advertizing to find her xD I do not want people going around and using her, ESPECIALLY without asking me :/ I thank everyone who's noted me with these people who seem to think it's okay to just 'advertize' my character for me.
Anybody who uses Janice, or ANY of my characters on a role playing site will be asked to take them down. NO EXCEPTIONS The only, ONLY, person to ever role play using my characters is me, and me only :P

I don't understand how some people justify things...
For dealing with such an asshole, you have my sympathies.
Also I like how they try and pass it off as marketing when either a) The 'character' part of the damned character is completely different and/or b) it's kind of hard for something to be marketed if you say it's yours and not actually someone else's.
This makes perfect sense! The amount of sense this make's is so great that all other sense makers can now shoot themselves because they will never achieve this level of sense!
Sorry this happened to you. Havent had it happen here yet, thankfully. Have really checked either though.
And then all this silly MLP business would be over.

I have no problems with Image boards, its when people take the pictures, and use my characters as their own where i get a little peeved xD
