Looks like this lonely iksar gets to go. Finally got my continuation orders in at work, and got the head nod approval to book it.
I'm looking for a room, was hoping to room with any of the people I already know, willing to try new people also. I really need to figure out the rooming situation before I plan/buy transportation and submit my formal request.
I'm not really sure what's going to be going on either, as I've never been to this con before, and I've only met about 8 of the Chicago locals, some of which aren't going to be in attendance. So I need to figure out if I should show up a day early/stay a day late type things, but that's mostly going to be if people want to hang with me.
I know a handful of people who think they are going this year, but most of those are going to be tied up in private parties, or stuck most of the con in dealers and artist area's.
I know I like Chicago area, it was fun to visit, if things go well I'll try to make this a regular event.
So things I need to do:
1 Register - Done
2 Find a room - Looking
3 Plan Drive or book plane/train
4 List people to meet
5 Tentatively plane for public activities/events if any pique my interest

On another note, Ssvanti I really would like to meet you since your commissions and your char. are all very awesome and I have admired the work you get. I really hope I can find you and maybe have a chat with you. I can usually be found hanging out around with Uncle Kage or walking around in Cryo. So hopefully you do not feel shy and will say hi and strike up a pleasant conversation.
Hoping to meet alot of people and say hi :D
