I am going to say this once and one time only, because it has become a big issue lately. Whether you are my friend I have known for years and are saying it to be silly or you are someone who is actually doing it to hurt my feelings I will react the same way to either of you should you call me Turkey. My name is Turka, but many people thought it would be funny to throw Turkey in there somewhere. At the beginning I thought this was not a big deal, but when someone used that name to get a reaction I made it a promise that I would snap at anyone who thought they would use this name for a quick giggle.

My real name got teased for so many years that I made it a goal that my fur name would not befall the same fate. I treasure this name and I will not have people ruin it for me by using a really annoying joke. And if any of my close friends or my mate hear you say this name in regard to me they will also not take kindly to this.
