That's good to hear about no growth. Hope it stay that way, until it starts shrinking with the chemo. ^^ Keep being strong.

shrinking isn't on the cards, that isn't really possible. No growth is really what the goal is with chemo. radiation can cause some shrinkage and I went through that as much as I can take. Just enough to enable me to start chemo. So we are on the right track. Rock on.

Is there any course of action that could shrink and all but eliminate it completely? Or is this something you'll have to endure permanently?

This started as a tumor the size of a fist with roots spreading out in different directions, and had outgrown its blood supply yet continued to grow. I underwent brain surgery only two weeks later which got the bulk but the rest would be like removing the fudge from fudge ripple ice cream, as they told me. So since then it started to regrow slowly. Radiation was the used to reduce what was leftover in size as much as my body could take. That's as far as size reduction will go. I'm on my third form of chemo now and the idea now is to kill it off by choking its blood supply entirely. If it ceases to ever grow after all these doses, then I win. If not, I lose. I'm pretty much on my last 1-up.
