Terriers and Labs are a good choice for dogs. They're smart and affectionate. Some of the breeds are shedders if you don't mind hair everywhere.
Scruffy (my first dog) was a Wheaten Terrier runt that never had his tail docked. Most likely because he was abandoned by a family that didn't care what the breed required and we had no clue as to what he was. Well, my parents didn't know. I was 1 years old when they found the 6 month old puppy on a California highway.
cause first ya have to make sure its in the same landscape. that the price is right and the dog age. making sure its not aggressive and dosent bark too much etc etc. and we both want a small dog
I have Chihuahua's they are my favorite but thats my personal opinion. Though depending on where you get them they can be rather expensive. Some of our best dogs have been rescues from the shelter, maybe thats something you want to look into? Just an Idea, good luck :D
*Funny story, my hubby was a cat person till we got our chihuahua's now he would have it no other way. He loves them sooooooo much lollll*
Oh MAN, I know your pain. Me and Donaruie have been looking for 'our first dog' for pretty much a year now. A YEAR. We want him to be perfect and everything we want, ya know? So you don't want to settle on something, you want THE dog. The right dog. And it is HARD.
Yeap, it's either too expensive or being advertised online but...say I'm in Michigan? It's available for pick-up at their house in California, as an example. No meet half-ways, nothing. Or even worse? I found the BEST black and white whippet mix recently for $350, good with cats, housebroken, everything I'm looking for? And I called the number, they're in Ohio which is close by so I figured what the heck -- and someone already took him months ago. UPDATE YOUR ONLINE PET AD INFORMATION PLEASE T.T
I miss him so
