Werewolf Stories?

Howdy all!
Well, now that i've broke the news about buying a house well, its October! Which means my reading takes me to halloween stories. After finishing FANG vol 2, which I got at RMFC, I found it.... stimulating to this time of year. So, what I've decided is this year its going to be werewolves that I read about. Sadly, I went to my mainstream bookstores and Vampires are everywhere....thank you Twilight, but no... I want werewolves. I've already gotten a book on the historical aspect, but now... aside from "Without Reservations" I'd some suggestions on 1. A gay werewolf novel, 2. An adventure exciting werewolf novel
So anyone who has some suggestions please do list them, I'm going to be looking at all the suggestions. Now these dont have to be "furry" in origin, and PLEASE nothing electronic. Thanks guys!
P.S. I am running out of furry books to read :(

It's a rather different and intriguing spin on werewolf stories....but I would suggest finding two books by Steve Vance. "The Hyde Effect" and its sequel "Shapes". Rather entertaining.
1) The Wolf's Hour (straight werewolf fighting Hitler in ww2)
2) Blood and Chocolate (straight girl werewolf meets boy)
3) Wild Blood (straight werewolf become super-powered shaman with lots of hot sex scenes)
That's it man, a good gay werewolf story is painfully absent.
World of Darkness has some novels, but oh dear goodness, they are about as interesting as watching paint dry.
You want action adventure with little character development?
I did a lot of research on werewolf books on the market prior to 1999 because I was looking to publish a novel and had to check out the competition.
This would be a REALLY good time to write one.
Another werewolf series I like is by Nic Brown. I think it starts with 'Blood Curse: Werewolf for Hire" basically a werewolf PI.
A more adventure-like series is Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson novels. Though it's a werecoyote and there is a background of romance, that's not the main point of the books. Like the first Anita Blake novels before they turned into porn. Starts with "Moon Called" I forget which book he comes in, but there is a prominent gay werewolf character which she fleshes out pretty well.
If you don't mind a bit of romance "The Last Werewolf by Glen Duncan" is also excellent.
If you want werewolf novels, there are quite a few of them out there. But most of the books (softcover) I've found are the kind that older married women find in the book section of Target to read because their husbands just aren't "doing it for them" anymore. Those are ick. There are a few others I read a loooooong time ago, but they were fantasy/adventure and werewolves were only a tiny part in them. Also boring.
Now, despite not wanting anything electronic, some furry authors are really, really talented on here (and SoFurry, etc). I'd check out "Lykan Invasion" by Nex.

It'll be gay, and hot, and full of some of the most wonderfully stimulating vocabulary that you'll find in the genre. The story isn't bad either. It's got some depth in it, and leaves a some room for imagination too. All in all, it's not bad for furry smut, and fulfills the want for some homoerotic werewolf luvins. The main story is six chapters, and has a few bonus chapters, and they're all pretty lengthy. They're not quickie five minute reads. Nex has this lovely habit of writing novels ;)
Course, it technically doesn't have to be electronic either. Cause, you know, you can always click the nifty little 'download' button, save it to your phone (you know, in case you want to travel and read), or even just print it. Just sayin'.
