UFO Princess Valkyrie - funny, space oriented... kinda ecchi.
Kanokon - definately ecchi, funny... has a fox girl and a wolf girl. (Kenomomimi)
S.T.R.A.I.N - Mecha-ish really serious.
Vandread - funny, boys vs girls takes place in space.

Popotan, haven't watched too much but it's pretty ecchi
Angel Beats, not ecchi but lot of action

rah, can't think of much else off the top of my head

Elfen Lied, bit ecchi, sci-fi/fantasy action/psychological
Air Gear, bit of ecchi, mostly just fuckin' awesome action and rediculous characters. think a whacked-out anime version of the Jet Set games.
Spice and wolf, bit of ecchi, set in pre-exploratory europe halfway into the change to christianity, fantasy mainly
Burst Angel, a lot of action and some mecha, not really any ecchi. most episodes are kinda like one-shots.
Samurai 7, action fantasy/sci-fi, mix western with bit of cyberpunk elements set in post-war rebuilt asia. very neat characters.
Heat Guy J, action noir/detective, main character is an android, couple of nekomimi and furries.

I'm not always into Anime because I'm really picky, but there is this awesome one called Tengen Toppa Gurren Loggan, or something like that. I call it TTGL for short. xD It's a great show! Every episode you're at the edge of your seat. xD

watched it 4 times already, i never get sick of it and its my favorite anime ^^
