Okay so it's been a good while since I saw an album trailer that literally made me say "Holy fucking shit, this album is RIDICULOUS", probably not since The Human Abstract released Digital Veil but WOW. The new Oh, Sleeper is absolutely insane. I wasn't really even aware they were working on new material until Solid State recently tweeted about an interactive trailer for the album so I figured hey, they're pretty good, love their stuff, let's check it out. So far I've only listened to Endseekers and The Marriage Of Steel And Skin but that was enough to blow my mind.





I didn't even realize their guitarist Shane used to be in Between The Buried And Me which would explain why the guitar work is so good. I'd say you're probably missing out if you don't give this album at least one go. It's a perfect blend of heavy and tight techy riffs. One of the best Solid State has to offer.

Am I overhyping this? Probably a little bit but regardless, I'm excited about this album and it's absolutely worth a listen.
