The following content may or may not contain floof, you have been warned! ...to keep back-ups of all my art.
My external drive broke today... and I ended up having to format it. It wouldn't have bothered me all that much if it wasn't for the fact that I kept all my art on it... that's like 5 years of digital art just up and poofed... I feel wonderful right now... like I wanna throw up...
Oh well, I guess I wil have to learn from this and get myself a memory stick dedicated to storing back-ups of all possible art I do in the future =/ At least I can get back the stuff I've posted online... (which is like 20% of the stuff).
I'm gonna go dig myself into a hole for a while, see you when I feel better.

If you haven't written anything to the drive since you "formatted" it, there may be a way to get the data off of it still. There's a program that I've used (can't remember the name of it here at work) to do this.. and there are also data recovery companies that can get it for you if you're willing to pay a few hundred dollars.
maybeh since you drew them they're still in your head somewhere, and you'll draw them again,but better. *hugs*
reminds me of when someone stole one of my almos tfull sketchbooks(along with the bag it was in) and most of the drawings i hadn't gotten to take pictures of or scan,it was devastating to say the least.
I don't see the possibility that I'll be able to redraw any of the pics, but after I get to be pissed about this for a bit I'm sure I'll get over it.
