On Darwin and Shame/Emotion

The reason I even bothered posting that last journal kind of has to do with the idea that I wanted to share that it "happens to the best of us".
I recently listened to this podcast: http://www.podcastdirectory.com/podshows/9274371 . It explains it a lot better than I can. The way I want to tie it in to this and the last journal entry is that shame should be faced up to... it's ok and more importantly NATURAL to experience this kind of thing and that if we can be honest with ourselves (and others, I suppose), life would be... more emotionally peaceful.
I can't really put my thoughts into words, but I think that the podcast is worth listening to and considering.
Edit; i should also mention that my life has been excellent lately. I've grown a lot emotionally and my art is one of the last big things I really have to tackle. :)

the only thing i didnt enjoy about it was how light on science some sections were. if he would have expounded on his ideas more it could have been a really killer book!
In a strange way, I've been experiencing the same damn thing. 'cept for me it's struggles with my musical creativity and guitar skills. I can't say I have any helpful advise to offer at this point... However, you seem to nave a good head on your shoulders. I believe you're on the right track to overcoming and growing from this experience.
Dude. You're awesome, SSirrus, and you know it.
