I just love how a design you made can become so horrible ADORED while you get no credit for it all. It was an adopt yes, and once they paid for it it was theres to be used as fit, but it still just seems a little ridiculous to me that the character became as popular as it did. Simply because and I'm sorry I honestly believe this, the artist who adopted it. NOT BECAUSE OF IT'S DESIGN. I GUARANTY you if I had kept said character design for myself, drawn her a million times, she would not be nearly as loved as she is today. Because of my style or whatever. It just irkes me. I don't mind what it became and I honestly am happy to see so much use being got out of it but I often have this reoccurring thought. I also wonder how much more "popular" some of my characters would be if I could afford to commission people all the time. It's sad to me. Sorry for the rant guys. I imagine this journal will be taken down soon. I'm just pregnant and crabby.
