Burgerbunz real name: Lunaraa Spiritwalker (family name)
Lunaraa Spiritmender (ceremonial name)
Build: 7’4”, 320lbs, lean and curvy (but not chubby), relatively lacking in muscle definition
Age: 26 years old
Fur color: Black with white spots and white stripes on top of nose, white fur on stomach.
Mane: Black with two long braids in front, which are constantly embedded with flowers and buds.
Horns: black, medium length bearing a shallow curve.
Ears: Medium-small size, angular, usually swept back unless alert. Almost always wearing horde symbol earrings.
Eyes: Emerald green, deep and mysterious, having developed a faint green glow behind the iris early on in her adulthood (visible in daytime, vibrant in the dark). At her current age, the glow in her eyes is constant.
Tail: Normal length, width, and build, with a red ribbon tied in memory of her father at the base of the poof at the end. She can often be seen stroking her tail with her thumb, lost in the memory of her fearless father.
Temperament: Timid and reserved, but immensely caring. She will always stop to help an injured animal or person, regardless of race, creed, color or faction. That is, of course, unless they try to kill her. She will only attack someone in the name of self-defense. Her presence is not perceived as threatening by most animals, even those who would normally attack others. She is never seen without her fox companion, Renard.
History: Lunaraa never knew her birth parents. As a calf, she was found one night on the edge of a small lake, crying and scared, by a passing shaman named Uomi Spiritwalker. Uomi calmed the infant and gave her a sip of purified water, and then brought her home to her husband Uomi’s husband was a strong but simple-minded warrior by the name of Talaho Spiritwalker. Talaho, although strong and proud, had a tender heart, and agreed with Uomi that, rather than turn the orphan over to the elders of the tribe, they would raise her themselves. Because she had been found in such a manner, her name and lineage were unknown, so Uomi named her Lunaraa, for she had found the infant in the light of a full moon. Thus she became Lunaraa Spiritwalker. As a child, Lunaraa demonstrated a love for nature and it’s inhabitants. One day when she was 10 years old, while her mother was out collecting berries and her father had been called to duty defending the tribe, she discovered an injured fox kit lying at the foot of a tall tree. She approached the kit, and it cowered. Tenderly, she extended her hand to show the young fox she meant him no harm, and gently picked up the injured fox, being careful not to cause any more pain. As she did so, a single tear shed for the suffering creature ran down her cheek, leaving in it’s wake a wet streak of fur. As it dropped from her face, it inadvertently landed in the corner of the large gash on the fox’s side. Within moments, and to the amazement of both Lunaraa and the fox, the gash had stopped bleeding and closed, leaving only a scar. She gently set the fox down, stood up, and began to back away, bewildered. The young fox, feeling much better, stood up and approached her. She urged him to return to his mother and siblings, but instead, the fox followed her home. When Uomi returned that evening, she told her the story of what had happened, and she immediately took her to the to see the tribal elders. The fox followed, and was permitted to sit by Lunaraa’s side. After a lengthy meeting, the council determined the source of this power of healing to be druidistic in nature, and her fate was sealed. As the years passed, Lunaraa developed and refined her powers under the watchful eye of her parents, and the tribe’s elder druid. All the while, the young fox that she had healed stayed by her side. She had named him Renard, or Ren for short. By the time of her coming-of-age ceremony, she had become a tremendously powerful healer and at said ceremony, she was given the honorable title of Lunaraa Spiritmender. About a week after the ceremony, she was awoken in the middle of the night by a horrific chaos, and rushed outside to find an Alliance scouting party consisting of warriors and paladins assailing the tribe. Her father and his fellow warriors had taken up arms against the threat, and the women of the tribe had taken to tending to the injured. Frantically, she searched for her father and mother among the chaos. She quickly located her mother. Her father, however, was more difficult to locate. After searching for several minutes, she saw from the edge of the fray emerge another warrior, dragging her father. He had been impaled by an Alliance paladin’s blade, and was bleeding out. She ran to him, casting her most powerful healing spells as she ran. Despite her best efforts, in collaboration with the efforts of several of her shaman friends, her father succumbed to his wounds and passed, becoming one with the Earthmother. Surging with agony, Lunaraa screamed, clasping her father’s lifeless body. Her eyes began to glow with a vibrant emerald energy. Her pain swelling, the air began to crackle with energy as bolts of light began to fall from the tempest forming above. Miraculously, however, the bolts fell only on the enemy soldiers, killing several and forcing the rest to retreat out of fear. It is said by members of her tribe that on that day, the stars themselves fell. With the surviving alliance fleeing and her father’s body in her arms, she vowed to join the Horde cause and defend the innocent against the Alliance’s insane genocide against the Orcs and their allies. Today, she heals her allies and fellow heroes as they embark on their journeys to defend peace and preserve balance in the world of Azeroth…
