Actually, what the others here are saying is very, very true.

ou don't want to become one of those ahem 'popular' furs that has a thousand or so watchers that only pay attention when you put up some smut so they can get their rocks of. Even with that many watchers, you'll still only get a few comments and real communicative relationships.

You should be happy with the friends you have that enjoy your work and take the time to comment and appreciate what you do. Otherwise, the wooks you do just become dilluted and non-meaningful. Do you really want two or three dozen 'Cool' and 'Nice job' to paw through all the time? It gets repetitive real quick.
