I really want to finish this story, but that made me push ahead and write some stuff even when I wasn't in the mood, so the whole chapter is kind of a mess, and my editor is thus taking longer than usual. I think next time I'll wait until I'm in the mood, it probably won't actually take much longer.
But this is all to say that I'm sorry, but I won't have anything new to post for a day or two yet.

Aw, crud... I know I'd been chomping at the bit (okay, bad me! bad!) to read the next chapter, but I'm usually pretty eager to read anything new you've written. Don't rush it, I'm used to waiting for new stuff from pretty much all of the authors I follow, and anyone who reads very much will be used to that as well.
