:O A day or so ago, I finally plugged "boar" into Wikipedia, and I was rather surprised. Maybe it's because I grew up in primarily desert climates, but every time I heard "boar", something like a peccary or warthog would pop into my mind. But Sus scrofa, a REAL wild boar, is damn cute! omg. so fluffy. ;o; And all this time I thought it was just artists exaggerating.

It has a lot to do with monkey see, monkey do, I think. XD Just like with Tanuki on artspots, now there are like a dozen of them there because they're an excuse to draw hueg balls. "IT'S CULTURAL!"
