The lier

The lier
Words writing clear,
Pages I hold so dear,
Is there no place to hide,
So you can’t tell me this lie,
Turning around in circles as we go,
Swaying to and fro,
Tell the truth is all I ask,
Is that too hard of a task,
My heart begins to race,
I can’t keep up with your pace,
The web of lies you spun,
Glistens beneath the sun,
I can’t take it anymore,
I’m not your stupid whore,
From this place,
With such haste,
I will leave,
Oh how you wouldn’t believe,
What it was you have lost,
With those lies it did cost,
Was it worth is all,
For that one phone call,
So tell me was it dear?
Words writing clear,
Pages I hold so dear,
Is there no place to hide,
So you can’t tell me this lie,
Turning around in circles as we go,
Swaying to and fro,
Tell the truth is all I ask,
Is that too hard of a task,
My heart begins to race,
I can’t keep up with your pace,
The web of lies you spun,
Glistens beneath the sun,
I can’t take it anymore,
I’m not your stupid whore,
From this place,
With such haste,
I will leave,
Oh how you wouldn’t believe,
What it was you have lost,
With those lies it did cost,
Was it worth is all,
For that one phone call,
So tell me was it dear?

OP
This is an old poem I came across and thought I would put it on here for everyone to read.
