I starting thinking about which I'd play as, out of all the races, and I honestly couldn't fully decide, they're all so awesome!

But I doubt they'd have Drell as a playable race, I just realized. :S (I know you didn't mention it, but..)

I think drell would be limited due to their limited population in the galexy!

They're not, really. Their budget is large enough to expand their team to include a multiplayer development team. This isn't Activision we're working with, here.

Following the usual trend of games these days, and the fact they tried to sell ME2 skins before the game was out... I'm kinda spooked at what EA will force them to do.

DA2 and ME2 are much weaker games than the first two... I just hope it doesn't plummet.

They're adding multiplayer as a result of the decision of the publishers -- EA suits want to encourage all of their single player games to also have multiplayer formats.

And that has created too many mediocre multiplayer experiences. Granted it worked with assassin's creed. but for every assassin's creed there's a dead space 2, where the multiplayer is practically an after thought compared to the single player they actually were intending to make in the first place. EA has been muscled to back off by the developers before, and bioware has enough of a reputation to say no if they want to.

Its also not a good policy to condemn something because of a precedent. You have no evidence that the multiplayer is going to be a mediocre experience.

For all I know, the multiplayer could be good. However, bioware already has a lot on their plate between the dragon age series, mass effect, and the old republic. All of which are huge games. I'd rather them spend their time on the craft they've been great with. Though if they end up doing what bioshock did and have a different company handle the multiplayer while they focus on the single, I may not mind so much.

I get the feeling this is going to be a interest check to see how plausable a ME mmo would be. Or atleast future co op campaigns in the ME world.

All I've got to say is this: If they do make co-op multiplayer, I do hope it will be either on the same console or allow you to link two 360's with TV's together.

I sorely miss the days when you could play games like PSO with 3 friends on the same damn console.

ME3 is getting even better then it already is! woot for progress! and turian snipers!

This is a new development, hell if they pull the co-op mode right, it can only make the game better, but I do hope they use a separate studio or perhaps not have it mingled together.

Still though this only made me more excited for ME3.
